Who we are

Angela Wright - Chair

Moving away from the NHS into the Charity sector in 2025 I became the Clinical Director for Children & Young Adult Services at Dougie Mac Hospice in Staffordshire. Supporting families and young people to live with a life limiting illness or condition and helping the family through end of life and into bereavement.

Outside of work, I follow a vegan lifestyle and have an allotment plot that I use to de-stress and get back to nature. I follow organic principles and joined Garden Organic and HSL four-years-ago to help me understand and develop my skills of growing, composting and seed collection.

I consider myself an intermediate gardener and aim to become more self-sufficient over the coming year to reduce my carbon footprint on food miles! I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my nieces who have a section of the plot for their own vegetables, flowers, and bug hunting.
