Creating growing spaces
We want to help you make the most of whatever space you have available - whether that’s a windowsill, back garden, community garden or local park.
We work with sectors including education, healthcare, local authorities, Public Health, NHS, housing associations, businesses and community groups, to support the creation of growing spaces and gardens in your setting.
We can provide:
- Site assessments, considering location, existing habitats/wildlife, land use, soil type, topography, natural sunlight and drainage.
- Face-to-face and/or online co-design sessions with individuals, groups and professionals to establish their aims and ambitions for the space available.
- A roadmap for the delivery of a project or activity.
- Garden/growing space designs that make the most of the space for people and the environment.
For our HSBC Growing Communities project we worked in partnership with HSBC UK at their new headquarters at No.1 Centenary Square, Birmingham to design roof terraces and work with staff to maintain them.
