Garden Organic are currently looking for a full-time Marketing Officer to join our friendly and dedicated Marketing and Communications team. This is a permanent, full-time contract for 35 hours a week, based at Garden Organic at Ryton.

This role will expand and support the existing team. As a small team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support a wide range of different projects and work, including social media engagement, website, podcasts, videos, magazines, leaflets and much more.

Overall purpose of the role:
To support the existing Marketing and Communications Team (Marketing and Membership Director, Marketing Executive and Growing Advice Editor) with day to day marketing and promotional activities.
- Creating and sharing content on social media, and monitoring results.
- Updating the organisation’s website
- Assisting with the production and dissemination of on and off line communications to members and supporters, including the charity’s monthly email newsletter.
- To proactively recruit new members through a variety of sales and marketing activities including events.
