White Serpent

(C. pepo) This vigorous vine is a prolific producer of long, pale green squashes that turn yellow as they ripen. Looking more like a cucumber, it has delicious, sweet flesh. Can be picked at courgette size, but if allowed to grow on (to around 60cm) the flesh remains firm and tasty.
