A tall, vigorous pea (around 2m) with pods that form a metre or so above the ground, making them easy to pick. Pretty pink and dark purple flowers give way to pods containing an average of 8 peas each. Seed Guardian Karen S says the peas are “sweetly enjoyable eaten raw form the pod, none of them made it to the kitchen”, and we can confirm they retain this sweetness when cooked.
