Salad Mix

Not an individual variety, but a combination of three of our favourites. This will provide you with a lovely mix of salad leaves, perfect for picking by the leaf. This year’s selection includes Black Seeded Samara - a light green, loose-leafed, summer butterhead lettuce with soft, mild-flavoured leaves, Greek Maroulli Cos - a compact lettuce with beautiful, tasty, large-bladed leaves, and Mesher - a compact Austrian heirloom cos lettuce dating back to the 1700s. It has pretty, red-tinged and crinkled leaves with a delicious, sweet flavour.
