A rare heirloom introduced from France in 1913 by Carters Seed Company. This is a late variety, producing strong plants with white flowers and a good yield of slim pencil pods. These are best eaten young, however, they can also be allowed to dry when the attractive seeds are ideal for soups and stews. Sow to harvest 90 days (approx.) Seed colour bicoloured white with black speckles/black.
