Our donor obtained these seeds from a seed swap in Llandiloes, however, they are thought to have originally come from Ukraine. They produce pale pink/lilac flowers and flat, green pods which bulge around the beans as they swell. Primarily used as a dried bean; our donor uses them for their home-made baked beans; with a nutty flavour and creamy texture. Seed colour greenish-yellow.
