Ukrainian White Pod

Our donor was given seeds of this variety by his 92-year-old Ukrainian allotment neighbour, Waldimier Malyckuj, who who was giving up his plot and wanted to pass the beans on for safe-keeping. The plants grow to around 2m in height and produce lilac flowers followed by creamish-white pods. Apparently, Waldimier used to sing to his plants in Ukrainian, and they appeared to respond favourably! Seed colour black.
