Members were able to choose from 158 varieties on offer this year, with Kent Blue pea a particular favourite. We are always interested to know what our members think of the varieties, as well as how they performed, if they were good or bad and how they were used - we also love to receive your recipes! All of this information is really useful for HSL and can often be found in the variety descriptions.

Garden Organic's Heritage Seed Library (HSL) aims to conserve and make available vegetable varieties, mainly of European varieties, that are not widely available. We are not a gene-bank and all our collection, once we have enough seed, will become available through our annual catalogue.
