The Organic Gardening Catalogue

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Dobies to produce The Organic Gardening Catalogue.

Under this new arrangement, customers will receive a catalogue at the end of January. Dobies have acquired Chase Organic seeds and the associated stock and supplier relationships as featured in previous catalogues so you shouldn't notice a difference in your orders. In the meantime, you can continue to shop online at www.organiccatalogue.com and any existing orders with The Organic Gardening Catalogue will be processed as normal. Of course Garden Organic members will still be able to enjoy a 10% discount on all orders, and a percentage of all sales will be donated back to Garden Organic to support our charitable work.

We will be working closely with the team at Dobies to provide organic growers, and those aspiring to grow more organically, with a full range of organic seeds and gardening products, including all the existing favourites plus new additions.

We see this move as an opportunity to instigate change in the market place. As the national charity for organic growing, we have a responsibility to improve the range of organic products available to growers, and support the gardening industry to adopt more organic and sustainable methods. By working with Dobies we are confident we can not only deliver more choice, but also help shift one of the biggest companies in the industry to adopt more organic and sustainable practices themselves.

Dobies, owned by Suttons Consumer Products Ltd, is a 137 year old business based in Devon. It has been awarded the coveted "Best Buy" Seed Supplier by Which? Gardening and their 8.5 out of 10 Trust Pilot ranking also attests to their commitment to providing quality products and service. We are happy that the Organic Gardening Catalogue partnership will be in safe hands.

Members may be familiar with Dobies' Product Development Manager, Rob Smith. Rob, winner of the BBC Big Allotment Challenge, has been supporting Garden Organic as a volunteer Seed Guardian for the Heritage Seed Library for a number of years and has been invaluable in helping to raise the profile of the charity. As a dedicated member, Rob will be working with the Garden Organic team to source new products with Garden Organic's principles cemented firmly in his mind.

Garden Organic and Chase Organics have been working together on the catalogue for 25 years – it has been a great partnership and we wish the Chase Organics team all the success with their ongoing business providing their range of plant nutrition products to businesses and organic growers across the world.
