Spring into action as a Garden Organic volunteer
We couldn’t achieve all that we do as a charity without the passion, dedication and support of volunteers.
As we continue to grow - both literally and metaphorically - we’re looking for more volunteers to help us amplify the positive environmental messages and climate actions central to the principles of organic gardening.
Garden Organic already benefits from the direct support of more than 550 volunteers. These active supporters share our messages, save seeds to bolster our living library, nurture our organic garden at Ryton, and assist with our office work.
Supported by coordinators around the UK, volunteers contributed more than 7,400 hours of their time in 2024. And in our outreach activities they promoted, inspired and advised thousands of people on the principles of organic growing.
How to volunteer 🔗
We would love you to join our network. Volunteer opportunities vary from gardening and office support at our headquarters near Coventry, to promoting home composting, food growing or waste prevention closer to home in your local communities.
