It's a bumper harvest in this month’s podcast.

We’re pleased to have added the World of Beatrix Potter™ Attraction to our list of gardens where Garden Organic members receive a discount on admission. Located in Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria, the attraction includes an exhibition on the life and works of Beatrix Potter, plus the Peter Rabbit Garden - a small but perfectly formed show garden designed by Chelsea Gold medallist Richard Lucas.

The first hints of the turning of the leaves have just begun and signals the start of a very different type of season in comparison to the last two. Nature is wise and as the days get shorter and the cold sets in, most of it chooses to sleep. I personally love the autumn. The colours, the fresh air in the mornings, its very distinctive smell and I adore a good thick fog when one pops along.

Change happens once again, and the laid back month of August comes to an end, but there’s no rest, it’s time to get busy again!
