New partner garden!
We’re pleased to have added the World of Beatrix Potter™ Attraction to our list of gardens where Garden Organic members receive a discount on admission. Located in Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria, the attraction includes an exhibition on the life and works of Beatrix Potter, plus the Peter Rabbit Garden - a small but perfectly formed show garden designed by Chelsea Gold medallist Richard Lucas.
The gardens are managed in accordance with Garden Organic’s Principles of Organic Gardening, and feature the Long Scarlet Radish, a HSL variety that the World of Beatrix Potter is helping to save, which is actually the vegetable that Peter Rabbit is famed for eating - not a carrot as believed!
Garden Organic members receive £1 off adult entry (normal price £7.95) and 50p off child’s entry (normally £3.95) on showing a valid Garden Organic membership card. Please see www.hop-skip-jump.com for visitor information - we thoroughly recommend a visit!
