Frequency and location

Lewes Community Allotment hosts visits from groups with learning disabilities through our project Flourish. We have trained facilitators and support workers to guide activities and tasks, and encourage members to work alongside our groups for a mutually enjoyable social gardening and wildlife experience where people help each other out. We meet most weeks on a Wednesday afternoon. Common Cause also manages a community orchard at nearby Ringmer, and runs sessions for Flourish groups at a smallholding. Membership starts at £15 per year for an unwaged individual, to £25 per year for family membership, £5 per year for a Friend of LCA. Groups by arrangement.
