Introduction to Seed Saving offers the guidance you need to learn how to save seed from tomatoes, peas, French beans, lettuce, and peppers (or other seasonal vegetables).

We cover why seed saving is important, especially in the organic garden. We also look at annuals, biennials and perennials, and how they’re pollinated. In addition, we guide you through the whole seed saving process including cleaning, drying and storage methods for various vegetable types.
