Garden Open Days
Our organic demonstration garden features several unique areas including a large glasshouse and polytunnel, a four-bed veg garden following a crop rotation, a no-dig system trial area, and a container garden space. The garden is bursting with ornamental plants and flowers and an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables including some more unusual varieties. A large proportion of our vegetables are varieties selected from the Heritage Seed Library - it really is a must-see for any gardener.
Heritage Seed Library Open Days
We'll will take you to our Heritage Seed Library working spaces to reveal the what, how, and why we grow heritage varieties for seed. We will take you on a tour around our polytunnels and outdoor beds to see the methods we use to isolate and pollinate crops to ensure varieties are conserved 'true to type' for future generations. We will show you what is easy from a seed-saving point of view and why some crops are more challenging.
