We are losing vegetable varieties at an alarming rate as a small number of new, often single-generation hybrid alternatives replace them in commercial sales.

For many varieties, the Heritage Seed Library (HSL) is the last line of defence in their conservation. We rely on your donations to keep 800 historic, heirloom and ex-commercial seed varieties from disappearing.
